Success cues from Crickets
ByEvery year a group of Crickets gather under my
office window to “sing their song.”
If you’ve ever had the “pleasure” of listening to the
prolonged chirp…chirp…chirp… of a Cricket you
will undoubtedly question you sanity.
Especially if you can’t seem to find the source of
the noise – only hear it.
Today I have a full plate of coaching calls, things-to-do
and goals to meet so when the familiar sound started
first slowly and then reached it’s fever pitch I was
annoyed.
Then I paused myself and asked a different question,
what if there was something to learn from these creatures…
Watch this quick video and see what we can all learn from
the 3 core characteristics of a Cricket…
May you continue be be like the Cricket as you strive to be:
C – CONSISTENT
R – RELENTLESS
I – INSISTENT
Finish strong!

One more cricket tip,
Be self publicizing! Make sure you let others know of your plans and and even more importantly successes. Perhaps you need to be a little more subtle than crickets however don’t be a “shrinking violet” either. If you have a win stand up and yell “yes got it” or “yes sir that’s what I’m talking about”… or what ever in your local vernacular is said for a success. People will say why are you so upbeat… “I’ve just had a win you say

If one slows down the sound of crickets one will hear what sounds like choirs of angels singing … AWESOME!
All of nature is praising its creator.
The first time I heard it, not knowing what I was listening to, I was moved to tears with the beautiful angelic choir’s voices.
When I then heard the SAME CD sped up its natural speed and found out I was listening to crickets, I was TOTALLY in awe.
I too like to play with acronyms so, when I have one for cricket I will send it to you.
Thanks for the great info.
