Karen, I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about and I’m glad that I could be a mirror for you! What I “get” now is that the pain comes from the resistance and never from the actual doing of the things we are called to do. If we could just embrace that lesson and obey without delay oh how much less struggle and strife we’d experience. We are works in progress – keep pressing forward. ~Sanyika

Sanyika, thank you so much for sharing your own struggles and the method you used to overcome them. The Post It Notes is a great idea, and I had pulled out a stack and started writing before I wrote my comment. This year I had moments of struggle as my higher purpose challenged me to go deeper and to let go of some things and embrace others that I had tucked in a corner. New year, new decade, new season and I am ready to rock it out! Happy New Year and thank you!

I am in love with what you have done! I have been struggling with the same fears you mentioned on Facebook I believe and have just watched a bunch of papers sit, waiting on me to do something with them.

Looking at your photos has given some great ideas to put all those papers and my plans to use

I’m so glad you found the Post It Note process useful. I found it fun and freeing, even if there were more in the “this is soo not getting done” pile than there were left on the wall. Clarity is a beautiful thing!

What great insight Frank. Thank you for adding that knowing the “why” is profoundly in determine the when and how. A friend of mine, Simon Sinek just wrote a book, “Start with Why” (Penguin Group) and speaks about that very thing.

I notice that many of us who are called to a higher level of work and worship are having similar “blanket” moments, and I agree that it should be embraced, albeit difficult in the moment.

Wallace D. Wattles write in The Science of Getting Rich, “Hold the FAITH that your dreams are being realized and the PURPOSE to realize them.”

Our flesh says, “What if it doesn’t happen?”

Our faith whispers back, “It’s already done.”
